New Extremist Foxes Welcomed into U.S. Chicken Coop

Imagine that in recent weeks alone, dozens of Muslims around the world had been murdered by Christian extremists armed with suicide belts and similar paraphernalia.

Imagine that at the same time, around other parts of the world, Christian mobs had set fire to, and burned to the ground, the holy places of some of the oldest and most established Muslim communities in the world.

Do you think there would be a reaction to such events? Probably yes. Would that reaction be wholly negative and unceasing in its condemnation? Probably yes. Would it be remotely conceivable that a senior U.S. government official or advisor would have used the opportunity to claim that Muslims who had been targeted had brought it upon themselves? Probably no.

Welcome then to the mirror-image of the real-world persecution of Christians that is going on across the globe today.

And say hello again to two of the most appallingly over-promoted and sinister figures involved with the current U.S. government: Mohamed Elibiary  and Dalia Mogahed

Of course, you may not want to: as the terror goes on worldwide, and the situation around the globe slips continuously in the Islamists’ general direction, there is a growing and terrific ennui among much of the West. Among much of the Western world, terrorists’ marauding is another case of, “Oh, just that Islamism again.” You say a person is not good? Well, we can’t be bothered to find out. The very condition that so few people can raise themselves to be bothered is part of the problem: “The trouble with all the nice people I knew in Germany,” the British author Stephen Spender wrote in his Berlin diary in the 1930s, “is that they were either tired or weak.”

Thankfully there are a number of people who can still rouse themselves to point out how outrageous Western governments’ hiring policies are these days — as when Mohamed Elibiary was promoted to the U.S. Department of Homeland Security’s Advisory Council. Yet despite these heroic individuals pointing out Elibiary’s track record of support for Islamists worldwide, the appointment held — and so it was that the U.S. government welcomed another fox into its chicken coop.

Now an American official can not only fail to stand by America’s friends – he can actually blame them for the persecution they are suffering. Over recent days, one of the effects of this has already been felt: in September, when violence against Egypt’s Copts had reached another peak, the new Department of Homeland Security Homeland Security Advisor, Elibiary, used his twitter account to blame American Coptic activists for the murder of their co-religionists by Muslim Brotherhood extremists of the type Elibiary has a track record of supporting.

On September 15, he wrote, “For decade since 9/11 attack extremist American Coptic activists have nurtured anti Islam and anti Muslim sentiments among AM RT wing.” A day earlier, Elibiary blamed American Copts for protesting against attacks on their relatives in Egypt, and recommended an article “on need to reform #Coptic activism in #US including stop promoting #Islamophobia.”

So while Copts were actually being targeted and killed in Egypt, Mr. Elbiary chose to try to switch attention onto the fictional persecution of Muslims in the U.S. There is nothing quite like someone excusing one crime-in-progress by citing a non-existent other crime — except for, of course, a U.S. government official doing the same.

Unfortunately, thanks to our enthusiastic, politically-correct attitudes and radical Islamist ideologies, Elibiary is not alone in the U.S. administration.

It was Dalia Mogahed, you will recall, who helped President Obama draft the 2009 Cairo Speech — a “reset” speech, regarded as seminal across several rooms in the White House. It was Mogahed who helped draft the address which apologized for America’s past actions while giving the benefit of the doubt to most of its self-stated enemies.

Mogahed is not only one of the geniuses credited with that speech; her record also includes other glowing occasions. Such as the time, that same year, in which she cropped up on a U.K. television program, which aired on the most notorious satellite Islamist channel. Mogahed took part in a discussion about the empowerment of women through Sharia. She participated, seemingly happily, in the program hosted — and introduced as such — by a member of the radical Islamist group Hizb-ut-Tahrir. Mogahed also seemed unfazed when, for instance, passionate fellow participants called for the restoration of the Caliphate (a key pipedream of Hizb-ut-Tahrir).

Incidents like that have been used against her. But these things have a tendency to come and go. A little flare-up of bad publicity here, the rebuttal of legitimate concerns and an accusation of “Islamophobia” there — it is all part of the mood-music.[Note: Mogahed will be appearing at the egregious, MB-loaded, “Global Faith Forum” interfaith dialogue da’wah event in November, in Keller, TX at the Northwood “Christian” church.—Dorrie]

Dalia Mogahed’s latest popping-up however, makes all her previous ones not only explicable but mild: After 80 Coptic churches had been burned down by Brotherhood supporters, Ms. Mogahed decided to single out for criticism not the perpetrators but — the Egyptian media! “The Egyptian media took advantage of the Copts to achieve many personal/political gains which has angered the West,” she wrote on one of the Facebook pages to which she spends her time contributing: “Egyptian Americans for Democracy and Human Rights.” All of which adds up to one of the strangest sets of messages any American government has surely ever given out.

If you were one of those Christian Copts standing in the ruins of your village or church, what message would you take from all this? If the officials of the current U.S. administration are managing to blame the media, or even fellow Copts in the U.S., for your slaughter and the desecration of your churches, would it be any surprise if they took the message that the current U.S. administration is not just indifferent to the suffering of Christians across the Middle East and the rest of the world, but actively asking them, “Would you mind dying quietly, pleas

Texas Insider Report: AUSTIN, Texas – CSCOPE is not gone, it has just changed names. The 20 Texas Education Service Centers (ESC’s) are a true example of morphism. What was set up as 20 regional agencies to provide “affordable” and free quality educational services to school districts has morphed into a 20 headed monster. Sound  melodramatic? Sadly, it is true.

An Introduction: by Jeanine McGregor:

Texans by nature, design and heritage, are God-fearing, independent-minded, hard-working, individuals who stand for truth and justice.  When Texas turned down the highly-suspect federal program, Common Core, yielding to its  Jeanine McGregor Ms. MacSMALL own educational goals, parents and community leaders heralded our independent choice, little did we know that traitors amongst us, a.k.a. some liberal-minded Texas school administrators and superintendents, had joined forces to implement behind our backs a similar program, CSCOPE.

That, at the very least, was raw, untested, and poorly designed, and at the most was a highly-restrictive management framework, dipped in radical ideology, meant to control our children’s academic futures using fear and intimidation.

True Texans from across the state are waking up and speaking out.  The following is the first in a series of articles from individuals across Texas, meant to reveal the truth and empower the individual so that together we can stand up and say, “We’re from Texas.  We don’t like being lied to and we don’t ‘cotton to you messin’ with our children.”

Is This Happening At Your School?

Janice VanCleave3eBy Janice VanCleave

CSCOPE is not gone, it has just changed names. The 20 Texas Education Service Centers are a true example of morphism.

What was set up as 20 regional agencies to provide “affordable” and free quality educational services to school districts has morphed into a 20 headed monster with appendages it can shed, much like a lizard can lose its tail and keep on going.

Severing the limb containing the CSCOPE Lessons was a minor setback. The lessons were not lost. Instead they are now snugly set in place in school districts with administrators dedicated to continuing this covert cause to remove parents from being a part of their children’s education; dedicated to continuing to set the educational bar so low that every student learns at an equally low level; dedicated to continue bullying teachers making them so fearful of losing their jobs that they must teach in secret–when the administrators, the CSCOPE Management CZARS, leave the school building.

Sounds very melodramatic doesn’t it? Sadly, it is true.

CSCOPEparentPortal1. Are CSCOPE Lessons, as well as assessments, a one-size-fits all?

The CSCOPE assessments are being given in some schools about every 3 weeks. This is in every subject, every grade, and at every ability-level. Some Advanced Placement students are required to take these tests!

You might ask how this could be, since the AP classes do not have to follow the same schedule as the “regular” classes. It doesn’t seem to matter. It’s the data that is being collected:

  • How many failed this?
  • Which race failed that?
  • Do white kids do better than black, Hispanic, or the “other” races?

If you have ever filled out a questionnaire for a political poll, you know that the results are (on average) going to be the way the politician wants them to be. Your kids are little more than political guinea pigs.

There is a point to what seems to be madness, and it has little to nothing to do with academics. It isn’t just that kids are being “brainwashed” into thinking that there has to be a big change in teaching methods, because after all we are in the 21st Century.  They need to learn how to Twitter and develop Facebook pages so they can get better jobs. Kids don’t cscope-arrowneed textbooks; they need ipads. Learn to read? Learn to write? No, they need to learn to TEXT (sic!) –  Thus they will be able to get better jobs – to become brain surgeons – those who know little about the brain, but are great with social media!

What about teachers? No problem here. The new CSCOPE teaching philosophy will in time displace certified teachers with “Guides on the SIDE.” Actually, certified teachers and school administrators are slowly being phased out.

At one time school board members represented the community. They hired certified personnel. Now, the 20 ESCs train and certify teachers, principals, supervisors, and superintendents. But, having the right certification is not required  by all school districts. Some superintendents hold the job position, but are not certified. The same is true with principals and other administrators.

Are your administrators certified for their jobs? You can find out at this State Websitehttps://secure.sbec.state.tx.us/SBECONLINE/virtcert.asp

2. How many days of the school year are spent taking and preparing for tests?

The more tests students take, the fewer days teachers have to present information being assessed.

The more tests students take, the fewer days students have to prepare for the tests.

CSCOPE Tests are filled with errors. Teachers know this, but this year teachers do not have access to the CSCOPE tests cscope7duntil they are given to the students.

ALL TEACHERS DO NOT have the freedom to teach. If their administrators are following the CSCOPE Managing System, which gives administrators more controlling power and some love it, then teachers are to “goosestep” to the tune scripted by the ESC/CSCOPE directors. Sadly, these administrators are marching in step to the same tune but seem not to recognize the irony.

Parents, Don’t let the enchanted “song of the CSCOPE Sirens” lure you into believing your child is receiving the best 21st Century technology education with rigor necessary for the STAAR. Find out for yourself what is happening in your child’s classroom.

3. Is the teacher forced to give frequent CSCOPE assessments?

If so, she/he may be struggling to rush through topics in an effort to prepare kids for the next assessment and then the next and so on. Find out what teachers do during what is now facetiously called the teacher planning period. The CSCOPE teachers I correspond with have no time to plan their lessons, they are filling out data reports.

Find out if teachers in your school have to give CSCOPE assessments over material that hasn’t been introduced to your child. It is happening in some schools. It seems that these CSCOPE assessments are being given so data can be collected. What kind of data?

Also, since the STAAR/EOC Tests are given during the 5th 6-weeks of the school year, teachers are expected to teach 36 weeks worth of instruction material in less than 30 weeks. Think of all the days of instruction lost because of the extra cscope7cCSCOPE DATA-Collecting Assessments.

Now add to that the time scheduled before the STAAR/EOC TESTs for review of everything learned.

4. Are the grades on the CSCOPE Assessments being used to evaluate the progress of your child?

These assessments have so many errors. But if these grades are not used, teachers have to use another day to evaluate students. Another day of instruction lost.

Did you know that not all of the CSCOPE assessments are machine graded using the bubble in testing sheets. Some of the questions are subjective and teachers have to read these answers and determine if they are right or wrong. Then teachers have to bubble this information in on the data gathering forms.

5.  How much time do the teachers in your school spend collecting data, giving tests, instead of providing instructions?

Teachers are not to be “Sages on the Stage” providing information. Instead, they are to be “Guides on the Side” watching students discover information for themselves.

cscope7eThink About This!

A football coach demands and receives the attention of his players. Football coaches do not give the team an assignment and then have them form groups and discover on their own how to accomplish making touchdowns. Yet, parents are buying into the idea that in the classroom teachers need to present the class with a problem and then step back and let the kids share and research to discover the answers. WHY? Why would it work in the classroom and not on the football field?

I know that it doesn’t make sense that our entire country is embracing a progressive teaching philosophy that promotes “social learning,” which means students are expected to have experiences while sharing them with others.  They are also expected to conduct research via the web.   As a group, students will determine which information is relevant and important to them. This includes learning math processes necessary to solve problems.

I recommend that we all review the events that took place in Germany when Hitler took control. Are you aware that Hitler’s ideas about education very closely parallel with those of the current progressive teaching philosophy?  Hitler was more interested in directing the social and moral standards of children than emphasizing academics.

Sound familiar?

CSCOPE promotes leveling the playing field for all students. This eliminates challenging students who are at different levels. The argument that every student must be on the same page at the same time so that kids can move NOcscope3cfrom one location and not lose ground is a questionable motive.

Don’t be lured to the ‘rocks of destruction’ by the songs of the Social Education Progressive Sirens.

Parents, any school, using ESC/CSCOPE material, has administrators that are lying to you. I have read and evaluated every elementary CSCOPE lesson and assessment. This instruction material does not align with the state standards called TEKS because the content of the CSCOPE instruction material is not all correct.

There are many errors that are carried from one grade to the next. Last year teachers had to teach to the CSCOPE assessments, in doing this these teachers were teaching incorrect information.

Parents, the problems in Texas Education will be corrected when you demand it.

11 Government Shutdown Facts Hysterical News Media are Not Reporting

shut govt

Here are a few facts about the debt ceiling and government shutdown fights that might have “slipped the minds” of some major news media journalists:
1. Depending on if you go by Fiscal Year 2014 or the already passed Fiscal Year 2013, only between 13% and 17% of the U.S. federal government is “shut down.”
giphy
2. Since 400,000 federal workers are presently furloughedonly 10% of the government’s workforce is at home.

3. The Republican-controlled House of Representatives passed backpay for all furloughed workers;  the Senate has slowed passage of this bill.

4. The House of Representatives passed exempting the National Institutes of Health, which performs such services as treating children with cancer, from the so-called “shutdown.” The Senate Democrats blocked the measure.

5. Only 33 of 197 Democrats voted to restore funding for veterans.

6. Only 34 of 197 Democrats voted to return spending discretion to the Capitol district.

7. Only 22 of 197 Democrats voted to restore funding to the National Park Service, including the Smithsonian Institution, the National Gallery of Art, and the United States Holocaust Memorial Museum.

8. Despite this, the Obama administration blocked World War II vets and numerous other Americans from seeing their memorials, while the Democrats hosted a rally in support of illegal immigration on Capitol Hill.

9. The U.S. is likely already over the debt limit. According toTreasury Direct, the public debt is $47 billion over the $16.7 trillion dollar limit. And no, we did not default.
oops510. The debt ceiling has been raised 53 times, and during 27 standoffs, various conditions have been placed on increasing the credit line of the U.S. government.

11. ObamaCare adds trillions to the debt, does not necessarily allow people to keep their doctors or their plans, and drives upinsurance premiums for many families across the United States. This unpopular law is the main funding item of contention between the two parties.

Could it be that the Democrats are simply afraid of taking an up-or-down vote on their ObamaCare law ahead of the 2014 elections, and that is all this “shutdown” is really about?

But because it is so absolutely absurd for administrators to be working toward a goal that results in students failing the state tests, it is difficult to get people to believe that this is true. It is difficult for people to believe that Texas Education tea-logo3Agencies are purposely creating CSCOPE Instructional Materials with an ulterior goal of establishing a Controlling Management System.

But it has happened and has been very successful. The 20 ESCs are in control of most of the Texas Public Schools because they are in control of the administrators in these schools.

Parents have bought into the sales pitch that the schools should provide RIGOR so that their children pass the STATE STAAR/EOC TESTS.

I doubt that parents have a clue as to what rigor is all about. Teachers seem equally uninformed. Who introduced the idea that the STAAR/EOCs TESTs would have more RIGOR and that the new TEKS have more RIGOR, thus curriculum with RIGOR is needed? The answer is from TEA! Yes, the Texas Education System–TEA. I asked TEA representatives about RIGOR-its definition and requirements. The answer was that TEA gave the ESCs approximately $200 MILLION dollars to provide materials, workshops, and website articles for Texas Educators.

YES. TEA GAVE THE 20 ESCS, WHO CREATED CSCOPE, MILLIONS AND MILLIONS OF DOLLARS and thus far not one person, as far as I know, has demanded to know what they did with this money.

I know that they did not fulfill the specifications listed in the Rider 42 grant that provided the money. So why were they paid? Why does TEA continue to give the 20 ESCs money when these agencies are doing everything they can to TEA Exemplary 2010 Logotransform Texas Schools so that the students will not be taught facts needed for academic advancement?

Instead, The ESCs are transforming the instruction in Texas Schools so that students are learning social technology (Tweeting and developing Facebook pages), questioning the social, moral, patriotic, and religious values of parents.

Parents, if you are concerned about your child passing the state STAAR/EOC Tests, I suggest that you find out if collecting testing data is the focus of your school. Find out if the following describes how your children are being “educated.”

CSCOPE promotes that all children have an ‘equal education,’ thus the need for a one-size-fits-all instructional material and assessments. This is the definition of social learning — more appropriately called Socialism.

CSCOPE promotes leveling the playing field for all students. This eliminates challenging students who are at different levels. TEXAS ISD Superintendent Viewed as Spiteful and Vindictive

Found the following post on Face Book in regard to Brazosport ISD Superintendent Karin Holacka.

____________________________________________________________

Talked to friend this weekend that is an ex-teacher who quit because she had enough of Karin Holacka. She said basically that the public at large has no idea how much harm she has done BISD.

She said discipline in the classrooms and her refusal to take action is one of the worst issues in the district now. She told a quick story of a student that was biting teachers and other tales of severe problems that Karin would not allow the teachers to do anything of consequence about.

I will share this information with Joe Silvas as he ran on a platform of restoring discipline to the schools.

My friend wanted to remain anonymous as she has friends that are still teacher and she seemed to indicate that Holacka was very capable of spiteful, vindictive actions. I am appalled this has come to pass in our schools.

Response..

I know is true from talking to teacher friends from when I subbed at Bwood and from talking to my daughter’s teachers from last year. Dr. H’s control and the changes she has brought to BISD are the reasons we moved and got our girls out of the schools there.

Why is WH silent on slaughter of Christians abroad?

Share Button

one news now

by Chad Groening

One News Now

A pro-family organization is outraged that in recent weeks radical Islamists have murdered hundreds of Christians around the world – and that the White House has been silent about the slaughter.

What accounts for the White House silence on scores of Christians being slaughtered abroad by radical Islamic groups?

The American Family Association has compiled a list of six incidents in the past two weeks where Islamic jihadists targeted Christians for assassination solely because of their faith in Christ. Entire families, including children, were slaughtered in their homes, churches, and public gatherings.

Perhaps the highest-profile incident was on September 21 in Nairobi, Kenya, when members of the al Qaida-linked Somali terrorist group al Shabab killed 67 Christians at the Westgate Mall after people who identified themselves as Muslims were allowed to leave. In other incidents, 90 Christians were slaughtered by Islamic suicide bombers in Pakistan – and Christians were among the 50 students murdered at a school in Nigeria.

In its public statement, AFA points out that “ironically, while Christian lives are being silenced by radical jihadists,” the White House has been silent. Bryan Fischer is AFA’s director of issues analysis.

Bryan Fischer

“It’s very clear that we have a president who is far more sympathetic to Islam than he is to Christianity,” he tells OneNewNow. “And everywhere that this president has used his influence around the world, he has emboldened the forces of radical Islam and has exposed the lives of Christians to great risk.”

And Fischer points out that jihadists recently went into a 2,000-year old Syrian village and murdered many Christians, before Bashar Assad’s Syrian army retook the town. “Our president is actually arming the very rebels who are actually killing Christians in that land – and it’s absolutely shameful,” he states.

Fischer says AFA is calling on Christians to urge President Obama and Secretary of State John Kerry to break their silence and condemn the killing of Christians by Islamic terrorists.

Expert Explores Link Between Federal Data Mining and Common Core

new American

Written by

In an exclusive studio interview with The New Americanmagazine’s Dr. Duke Pesta, Heartland Institute Education Research Fellow Joy Pullmann outlined the crucial link between the Obama-backed “Common Core” nationalization of schooling, the federally funded tests that go with the standards, and the vast data-gathering apparatus being erected by the administration to gather private information on U.S. students. The Common Core assessments, which have already been adopted by about four in five state governments, are a key element underpinning the entire scheme, she explained.Expert Explores Link Between Federal Data Mining and Common Core

“The first thing people have to know is that testing is inseparable from Common Core,” said Pullmann, a leading analyst focused on the education “reform” agenda with the non-partisan Heartland Institute. “When governors signed a bunch of documents saying ‘yeah, we want to do this nationalization of education project,’ one of the things that they signed on to was the Common Core initiative, and they defined it as standards plus assessments. So those assessments, those tests, are the enforcement mechanism to make sure that Common Core gets into the minds and into the hands of teachers and children in the classrooms.”

There are currently two testing consortia developing Common Core assessments for state governments with federal tax dollars, the Smarter Balanced Assessment Consortium (SBAC) and the Partnership for Assessment of Readiness for College and Careers (PARCC). Several state governments have started to withdraw from the testing schemes following massive public outcries, but both organizations are marching full speech ahead despite the growing outrage among parents, teachers, and experts.

As part of the agreements signed between state governments and the federally backed consortia, Pullmann explained in the interview, data gathered on children at school will be provided to the organizations. As an example of the types of data being sought, she said one of the consortia was interested in information on “student behavior, their attitudes, their persistence, their discipline, and so forth — a lot of non-academic things that a lot of parents aren’t comfortable with.”

“The reason I call this the student-data pipeline is because states have promised these organizations they’ll give this information to them — it’s basically a blank check; whatever information they think is necessary,” Pullmann explained. “And they’ve promised that they’ll change their state laws or their regulations according to whatever is necessary to get that carried out.”

Because the testing regime is funded by the U.S. taxpayers via federal government, meanwhile, the assessment consortia have promised to deliver the information they gather on students to bureaucrats in Washington, D.C., she added. The agreement between the Obama administration’s Education Department and the two testing organizations it funds, excerpted in the video interview, puts it succinctly: “The grantee must provide timely and complete access to any and all data collected at the state level to ED [the U.S. Department of Education].”

“We have a mass of student information available and open and unprotected — personal information about kids — that is literally being collected by Common Core,” Pullman continued. Indeed, as she points out in the interview, the administration has essentially re-written federal privacy regulations — without approval from Congress — to claim that information on children can be shared without parental knowledge or consent.

Aside from the data-mining schemes, Pullmann said other problems with nationalizing education through Common Core include the fact that it enhances the education monopoly already held by government. That will allow special interests, which invariably seek out power sources, to push their agenda more easily. “Just creating that sort of structure for education really makes it inevitable that bad things are going to be perpetuated on everybody beneath that structure,” she said, citing the history of humanity to illustrate the argument against creating such centers of power to begin with.

Beyond that, the agenda goes even deeper. “The real goal is social engineering,” Pullmann said, echoing widespread concerns among Common Core critics across the political spectrum. “I don’t like to use explosive sorts of things like that, but this is very obvious — the goal is to create a workforce that responds to the needs of the 21st century, as determined by the central planners.”

Dr. Pesta, who also serves as academic director at FreedomProject Education and an English professor at the University of Wisconsin, recently compared the effort to impose Common Core and associated government schemes on the American people to a frog being boiled alive over time. In the latest interview, he said that FPE, an online K-12 school offering classical education, has been working with Catholic schools. Many have been adopting Common Core standards in the mistaken belief that it would not pull them closer to the federal government, which Pesta noted had become increasingly hostile to Christianity and religious freedom.

For more information on Common Core, Dr. Pesta suggests exploring TheNewAmerican.com, which has been staying on top of major developments, and checking out the Heartland Institute’s page at www.heartland.org/common-core.

Texas ISD’S Jeopardize Your Child’s Safety by Posting Their Pictures Online!

danger

Parents  go to great measure to protect their children from the dangers of social media by buying and implementing privacy programs, limiting their time on the internet,  requesting they not post their locations, schools and full names. TEXAS ISD’s are working to place IPAD’s and other online devices in their students hand. With the utilization of social  media in the classroom and the fact that school administrators and teachers are now posting photos of their students and classrooms online, your child’s safety is at risk. I was scanning twitter and facebook this week and was shocked to find photos of kids posted by school administrations. One with malicious intent does not have the search long to locate  students school, location and sometimes their name.

Below are a few of the photos I found this week on social media. Parents need to wake up to what their local school districts are doing!

TEXAS EDUCATORS UNPROPESSIONALISM

dali goddess

My activism in exposing CSCOPE has brought me a host of enemies in the Texas education industry.  They appear to be at ease with the controversial lessons where reading verses of the Quran in class, drawing new communist flags, portraying the Boston Tea Party as a terrorist act, etc. are the norm.  Despite that the lessons are biased and the teachers are being controlled and told what, when and how to teach with the CSCOPE program, they seem fine with that.  Many teachers have left the profession of teaching or have moved to work in private or charters schools.

Dr. Brent Hawkins, ESC 6 Assistant Director and Cathy Moak, ESC 6 Component Director for School Transformation and Digital Learning have once again come out against me, showing their unprofessionalism in the process. My legal name is Rajene. I have never used the name RAJENE and someone must have taken the time to research me very thoroughly to have come across my legal name . Ms. Moak, in trying to paint me as something evil, searched my legal name on the internet and came up with the Sanskrit meaning of my legal name even though it’s reference has a different spelling and posted in on TWITTER. In her eyes I am the “dark one” a Hindu goddess. Dr. Hawkins also found this worthy information and chose to re-tweet it.

In 53 years I have never researched my legal name so I did some research of my own.  I summarize that Cathy must have looked pretty hard until she came up with something in order to demonize me with. I googled RAJENE and found another definition which I particularly favor in the following link, which is posted below and even has the correct spelling of my legal name. I am glad that my critics lead me to look up what my name really means and due to the fact that Dr. Hawkins told me months ago that I was not going to “tear apart something they have implemented”, it seems to fit really well. I don’t know who specifically “THEY”  are in Dr. Hawkins comment but I think I as well other activist across the state have been pretty successful in exposing the progressive agenda of these educators though the battle is far from over.

CSCOPE’S…… FLIP FLOP PROGRAM!

FLIP FLOP

CSCOPE or TEKS Resource System what ever you want to call the program has mastered the art of flip flopping dependent on the day and  current criticism of the program.   CSCOPE now known has the TEKS Resource System was operated by the non-profit Texas Education Service Center Curriculum Collaborative (TESCCC) is now being operated under the name Texas Curriculum Management Program Cooperative (TCMPC).  CSCOPE’s original promotional PowerPoint presentation used in promoting and selling their program to school districts outlined the research base in the creation of CSCOPE. Please make note that two of the most controversial individuals used in its creation of the program is  Marxist Lev Vygotsky and Radical Humanist Linda Darling Hammond (highlighted below). Hammond is associated with Communist Bill Ayers, the Weather underground bomber and is heavenly involved in the creation and implementation of the Common Core Standards.

HAMMOND

Performing another FLIP FLOP in hopes of  mending their damaged image the management team TCMPC has removed Vygotsky and Hammond from the research base though the foundation of CSCOPE has not changed. Despite it’s name change CSCOPE is the same, the management team consist of the same individuals. The program is all about implementing a Marxist Program called Project Based Learning built around the Collective, in  of promoting diversity, equity, and globalization.

ENGLISH

Due to the fact that CSCOPE was exposed last school year and received so much negative publicity the powers at be chose to change its name to the TEKS Resource System and to abolish its non profit.

Below is another slide from the PowerPoint notice they promote the idea of CSCOPE being Progressive and it is not a Parent Resource. Wow? They have tried for years to hide CSCOPE from the public and parents. Thankfully for the involvement in concerned Texas Citizens CSCOPE is now exposed for what it truly is, a complete radical progressive TRANSFORMATION of the education system in TEXAS.

WANTED! CONSERVATIVE TEXAS SCHOOL BOARD MEMBERS and TEACHERS

There is a plan in action to connect CONSERVATIVE Texas School Board and Teachers to combat the liberal agenda now taking place in our education system. School Board members run and are elected by the people but then become a trustee of the school district with insurmountable pressure to fall in line with the progressive school agenda. They are no longer representing those that elected them. Teachers are intimidated by their administration of losing their job if they don’t fall in line with their agenda of implementing the progressive TRANSFORMATION now taking place state-wide.

If you are a conservative and want to connect with other like minded individuals in the education profession please email me @gingerdr@gmail.com. Subject: Conservative.

A Hard Days Work? Not Hardly!

Today is Tuesday Oct. 1, 2013 where is your school superintendent? Well Coppell ISD superintendent Jeff Turner has joined others for a nice day of golf.Does this ring of a familiar tune? Can similarities be drawn between Mr. Turner and Pres. Obama who seems to live on the Green? What a way to help out those school kids Dr. Turner. Was this a paid holiday for you?  What did this cost the tax payer?

As a note of reminder Dr. Coppell was the TASA President for 2012/2013 school year. He is also thinks very highly of the progressive/liberal mayor of San Antonio, Julian Castro. Read more HERE.

.10-1-2013 2-33-05 PM

Dr. Turner recieved some positive affirmation this past weekend at the TASA/TASB conference in Dallas. He was awarded the Texas Public School Public Relations Association (TPSPRA) Key Communicator Award? WOW.. Congrats Dr. Turner what an accomplishment!!

Coppell ISD has chosen to not post their check register online so I was unable to verify what they pay in membership dues to TPSPRA. Dr. Turner,  can you tell us what the district pays  to TPSPRA? A note of interest TPSRA is housed in the same building as TASA and membership dues are paid to them as well. Wow.. lots of associations and membership dues flying around these days. Corruption at its finest. There will never be enough money for education according to the progressive liberals that have hijacked out education system. It is no longer about students getting a great education but implementing  a progressive ideology, gaining power and money. Wake up TEXANS!!

The Mirror by Carlos Bringuier.. a Cuban exile.

Share Button
I have had the immense pleasure of meeting Carlos Bringuier and hearing him speak of the radical transformations taking place today in America compared to those of the  Cuba revolution and takeover by Fidel Castro. I received Carlos Bringuier’s thoughts today in an email bring me pause.

The Mirror

One of the things that I more dislike are nightmares. Last night I was able to watch the figure of Dictator Fidel Castro, from behind, looking at a mirror and I was surprised when I saw that the figure reflected in the mirror was not that of Fidel Castro but Barack Hussein Obama.
The Communist Dictator Fidel Castro was addressing the Cuban people during the early sixties. He was telling them how, in just a few years, Cuba would be exporting meat, eggs, milk, etc. Cuba was going to be even more prosperous than the United States. And the gullible people applauded and believed him.
When I was looking at the image of Barack Hussein Obama I was listening to him saying to the gullible listeners that we will have the best Health Care in the world, that the American people will be able to eat a piece of the cake, that he was bringing a new era of benefits to the American people. And the gullible people applauded and believed him.
One difference that I noted was that Dictator Castro was speaking without a teleprompter, Barack Hussein Obama was using one.
To my mind came the similitude of both Countries. Cuba and the United States had been brainwashed. I am convinced that the arrival of Castro to power was a master stroke of the communist infiltrated inside the government of the United States. They wanted to have an example of how you can brainwash people and take over a Country. Barack Hussein Obama is following Fidel Castro’s steps.
The United States could have become a Communist Nation if Franklin Delano Roosevelt would have died a little earlier. Remember that the Vice-President before Harry S. Truman was Henry Wallace, who was openly a member of the United States Communist Party. FDR lasted  too long and changed his mind replacing Wallace for his last term in office.
The Communists kept moving their pieces and when President John F. Kennedy, the Attorney General Robert F. Kennedy, and the Negro leader Rev. Martin Luther King, Jr., became 3 problems for them, the three were assassinated. Both Kennedy brothers were working to get Dictator Castro out of Cuba. Rev. Martin Luther King, Jr., never accepted Fidel Castro’s invitations to embrace him in Cuba. They had to go.
The Communist used Lyndon B. Johnson  to weaken the moral of the United States with the Viet Nam War, a war not to be with a victory ending. Later on they used Jimmy Carter to deliver Nicaragua to the Communists and then Bill “Lewinski” Clinton to
move forward with the economic debacle that is now in the near future of the United States. In the meantime they allowed Dictator Castro to send more than 80,000 troops to Africa to bring Communism to that continent.
Now, with fluoride in the water, we have children without cavities and a large part of the population without good brains. A corrupt Congress that really believe that they have “blue blood” running through their veins passing laws that exempt them, not been forced to go into the socialist medical program that is “Obamacare”. Why? That same Congress allow the President to keep expending money, that we don’t have, in the meantime that Social Security is moving closer to a tragic cliff, but they are not covered under Social Security and have their own special Medical plan and retirement paid by the American people. Why? Now we see them moving to legalize marihuana to further the deterioration of the American population. They have approved the destruction of the American family with the destruction of the American marriage. They have approved that a man can marry a man, a woman can marry a woman.
When last night I watched Dictator Fidel Castro finishing his brainwashing of the Cuban people and I  took a look at the mirror my body tremble of impotence when I realized that it was not a nightmare, that I was no sleeping, that the method that was used in Cuba to brutalize the Cuban people is the same method been used at this moment to brainwash the useful idiots that applaud Barack Hussein Obama.
God bless American, He is the only one that can save us. In the meantime we have to remember that we are living in the land of the free and the home of the brave.
September 30, 2013
Dr. Carlos J. Bringuier.

Carlos Bringuier was born in Cuba on 22nd June, 1934. He studied at the University of Havana where he qualified as a lawyer in 1957.

An opponent of Fidel Castro and his government he moved to Guatemala in 1960. He also lived in Argentina before arriving in the United States in February, 1961.

Bringuier joined the Student Revolutionary Directorate (DRE), a militant right-wing, anti-Communist, anti-Castro, anti-Kennedy, group. Bringuier, based in New Orleans, was placed in charge of DRE publicity and propaganda.

On 9th August, 1963, Lee Harvey Oswald was handing out Fair Play for Cuba leaflets when he became involved in a fight with Bringuier. Oswald was arrested and on 12th August, he was found guilty and fined $10. While in prison he was visited by FBIagent, John L. Quigley. Five days later Oswald debated the issue of Fidel Castro and Cuba with Bringuier on the Bill Stuckey Radio Show.

Investigators discovered further links between Bringuier and Oswald. Bringuier was found in possession of a book, Guidebook for Marines, owned by Oswald. On Oswald’s leaflets given out in New Orleans, was the address 544 Camp Street, New Orleans. This was also the address of the office used by Bringuier. It was also around the corner from 531 Lafayette Street, which housed the detective agency run by Guy Bannister, another man accused of being involved in the assassination. This raised suspicions that Oswald had been involved in a right-wing conspiracy with Bringuier and Bannister to kill John F. Kennedy.

IS PUBLIC SCHOOL AN OPTION?

Share Button

answers

www.answersingenisis.org

by Adam Mohler

The growing chaos in society is forcing Christians to rethink even their most cherished assumptions about their relationship with government institutions. For example, is public education even an option anymore?

Public School

Should Christian parents send their children to the public schools? That question has emerged as one of the most controversial debates  of our times. And yet, every family must come to terms with the issues involved in the public school debate—and fast.

Most parents already know that a great deal is at stake in this question. We start with the affirmation that it is parents who bear  responsibility for the education of their children. God will hold every parent accountable for the decisions we make about our children  and the context, as well as the content, of their education (Deuteronomy 6:1–26Ephesians 6:1–4). In the truest sense, Christians  understand that every home is a church, a government, and a school—the first church, the first government, and the first school that a child will come to know. The duty of Christian parents to raise their children in the nurture and admonition of the Lord cannot be delegated to anyone else—not to the state, not to the schools, and not even to the church.

In today’s context, most parents still send their children to the public schools. This has been the norm and expectation for most American parents since the beginning of the twentieth century. Until fairly recently, exceptions to this rule have been seen as profoundly anti-democratic and practically un-American. Homeschoolers were seen as marginal eccentrics, Catholics were seen as hopelessly sectarian, and those who sent their children to private schools were seen as elitist snobs.

For the most part, American evangelicals in the twentieth century agreed with this assessment. Evangelical families sent their children to the public schools with confidence and with eagerness. They had little interest in other alternatives for the simple reason that they saw little need for any alternative. Evangelical Christians were happy with the public schools and saw them as both effective and efficient in the delivery of an American education. They also saw the public schools as safe and healthy places for children, and they grew to love the athletic programs and extracurricular activities that grew along with the schools in the American Century, as the last century came to be known.

Then, something happened. By the end of the twentieth century, American evangelicals were abandoning the public schools by the millions. The last four decades have witnessed the explosive expansion of the Christian school movement in America and the emergence of homeschooling as a mainstream educational option among the nation’s Christians. Why?

A Tradition of Local Control

To understand the reason for this vast backlash against the public schools, a bit of historical perspective is required. The earliest public schools in the United States were community-based and parent-controlled. Parents and fellow citizens within a community would establish a school and hire a schoolmaster. The community would establish the curriculum, and the schoolmaster was expected to maintain discipline within the school as well as to guide the education of the students.

Bus Ride

Thinkstock.com

Public schools are being transformed rapidly into laboratories for ideological experimentation and indoctrination. If these developments have not come to your school, they almost surely will soon.

This pattern prevailed even when the nation grew and village schools gave way to the vast suburban expansion of modern America. The public schools were public in the sense that they were community schools maintained for and by the citizens of a community. Local control was axiomatic, and parents had a direct influence in the curriculum and policies of the schools.

That model of the public school, though rightly cherished in the American memory, is no more. First came the educational authorities who pushed for a “progressive” understanding of the schools and their function. Figures such as John Dewey argued in the early years of the last century that the public schools should form a common liberal culture as their main purpose. Without hiding their agenda, these educators argued that the public schools should separate children from the religious “prejudices” of their parents and redefine Americanism as what Dewey called a secular “common faith.”

Still, the full impact of the progressivist agenda took decades to emerge. For the most part, the public schools in rural and suburban America remained community schools. Local school boards, elected by the community, set policy and controlled the schools. The schools continued to teach the basic disciplines and to maintain order and discipline in the classrooms. That condition did not last, however, and the last half of the twentieth century saw the public schools radically transformed in the vast majority of communities.

Decisions of the U.S. Supreme Court secularized the schools in a way that separated the schools from their communities and families. The courts also turned the schools into arenas of endless litigation. The evil of racial segregation was rightly ended. But as a result, court-ordered busing programs eliminated any sense of a community school for many families.

In Their Own Words

Here are sample resolutions from the 2012–2013 convention of the National Education Association. If your school has not yet implemented these resolutions, it seems the NEA would like to change that.

The NEA pushes educational programs that increase acceptance of the homosexual lifestyle, regardless of the parents’ views.

“Plans, activities, and programs must . . . increase respect, understanding, acceptance, and sensitivity toward individuals and groups in a diverse society composed of such groups as . . . gays, lesbians, bisexuals, transgender persons . . . . Such plans, activities and programs must . . . encourage all members of the educational community to examine assumptions and prejudices, including, but not limited to, racism, sexism, and homophobia.”

—B-14. Racism, Sexism, Sexual Orientation, and Gender Identification Discrimination.

The NEA believes government schools should supply family planning instruction and resources directly to children.

“The National Education Association believes that every child should have direct and confidential access to comprehensive health, social, and psychological programs and services. . . . The Association also believes that schools should provide . . . family-planning counseling and access to birth control methods.”

—C-25. Comprehensive School Health, Social, and Psychological Programs and Services.

The NEA opposes parental efforts to restrict obscene and offensive books in school libraries and classrooms.

“The Association deplores prepublishing censorship, book-burning crusades, and attempts to ban books from school library media centers and school curricula.”

—E-3. Selection and Challenges of Materials and Teaching Techniques.

The Fruit of Revolution

But the most radical transformation of the public schools was political and ideological in origin. Control of the schools, enforced through both funding and mandates, migrated to the national government where an army of educational bureaucrats replaced local school boards as the real arbiters of educational policy. Labor unions for teachers, rather than parents, now exert vast influence over the schools.

The ideological revolution has been even more damaging than the political change. Those who set educational policy are now overwhelmingly committed to a radically naturalistic and evolutionistic worldview that sees the schools as engines of social revolution. The classrooms are being transformed rapidly into laboratories for ideological experimentation and indoctrination. The great engines for Americanization are now forces for the radicalization of everything from human sexuality to postmodern understandings of truth and the meaning of texts. Compulsory sex education, the creation of “comprehensive health clinics,” revisionist understandings of American history, Darwinian understandings of science and humanity, and a host of other ideological developments now shape the norm in the public school experience. If these developments have not come to your local school, they almost surely will soon.

Added to these worries is the general breakdown of discipline within the schools and the fact that the public schools are now seen as social service centers. Many schools are asked to do social work as much as education, and the very idea of what such an education should be is up for debate. Standards have fallen, discipline has evaporated, armed guards roam many hallways, and teachers feel increasingly unable to teach or to maintain order.

This is not just the fault of the schools and educators. Politicians demand that the schools fix society’s problems. But no school can replace a broken or dysfunctional family; no teacher can replace a missing father.

Many fine teachers and administrators serve in the public schools, and many Christians serve among them. In some parts of the country, the public schools still operate in some sense as community schools under local control. And yet, this is already not the case for the vast majority of schools and communities, and the handwriting is on the wall for the rest.

Is public school an option? For Christians who take the Christian worldview seriously and who understand the issues at stake, the answer is increasingly no. The number of Christian parents coming to this conclusion increases each year. We can understand the nostalgia that many Christians hold about the public schools. I spent every minute of my school life from the first grade to high school graduation in a public school. And yet, I saw the ideological transformation of the schools before my own eyes. Long ago, the public schools entered a Brave New World from which no retreat now seems possible.

Students Hate Project Based Learning aka PBL

Share Button

pblThe progressive radical transformation of education today is called Project Based Learning. It is a teaching philosophy where the teacher is no longer as the progressives say “a sage on the stage” She/He becomes more like a coach, facilitator, and friend within this learning environment.  PBL is being implemented in Common Core states as well as those that did not adopt common core such as my home state Texas.  Project Based Learning is a  Marxist teaching philosophy based on the collective. Texas Parents need to wake up as to what is going on in your local school. Texas school districts have been implementing PBL with the use of CSCOPE and other curriculum tools for some time.

Students are not beginning to voice criticism about Project Based Learning on Social Media. We need more parents and students to voice their criticism of PBL as well using the hashtag #HATEPBL.

A Right to Bear Arms not GUNS!! In TEXAS no Less!

I have to admit at 53 years of age I still find enjoyment in a fresh new box of crayons and new coloring book. Yes, I can still enjoying the art of coloring and drawing. The following blog in no way is to make fun of the student’s work but to criticize the teaching now taking place in Texas and the Nation. Online learning has become a HUGE focus in public schools now. Teachers post students work and pictures of the kids for the world to see. They want the students to connect with other world-wide. I find danger in letting children have free access to the internet but your local public school is not as concerned about your child’s safety as you are. The learning philosophy being utilized is called Project Based Learning, it is based on the collective the community in promotion of diversity, equity and globalization. American sovereignty is not taught in public school today, not even in Texas.

I found the following tweet on twitter praising the classwork of a Texas Student on their study of the Bill of Rights. I had originally thought it would be the work of an elementary student, with all the pretty pictures and colors.  You can understand my shock and amazement when I realized is was the work a 9th Grade  High School student. Is this the new TRANSFORMATION in Texas Education that Texas Superintendents are looking for?  Carrie Ross is an certified English Teacher at Trinity Independent School District.

In the students defense if he/she had actually drawn a gun, they probably would face school suspension in our politically correct society.

After posting the above post Ms. Ross contacted me through twitter and wanted me to remove the post. Why? Why would you post it for the world to see then ask me to remove it. I am want to reiterate my criticism is not of the student but of the assignment. Teach the students the truth! Why we actually have a 2nd amendment is to stop a dictatorship. Obama and his left cronies would love to have our guns. They do not want an armed citizenry. Unarmed citizens will leave unable to protect our FREEDOM and our all our rights as American citizens.

The Downfall of the United States and It’s Education System

stop common core

CSCOPE, Common Core, or Project Based Learning will contribute to the  downfall of the United States as most  have known it. All are based on a Marxist philosophy of teaching. It is based on the COLLECTIVE and not individual achievement. America’s  sovereignty is no longer taught. The lives of the men and women who fought and died for our freedom, you will not hear their names mentioned in a public school classroom.

God has been removed, though it is acceptable to learn about Allah and read the Quran, the religion enviromentalism is preached through all core subjects. It is acceptable for High School Students to draw new Communist Flags, etc.

The stupidity of of what is now transpiring in classrooms across America can be viewed in the videos below.

“Muslim Journeys, Jihadists Recruiting Our Children, Alice LInahan Conference Call”

by Donna Garner

9.26.13

Leave it to the American Library Association (ALA) and the National Endowment for the Humanities (NEA) to use our tax dollars to promote the Obama administration’s leftwing agenda – “Muslim Journeys Program” in Denton, Texas.

As best I could determine, the ALA receives around $184 Million per year of taxpayers’ dollars appropriated by Congress; and the NEA receives close to $154 Million.

The NEA is well known for such grants as the one in which an artist produced Piss Christ, a photo of a plastic crucifix submerged in urine.

In 2006 the American Library Association gave its prestigious “academy award” for Young People’s Literature (ages 12 – 18) to Looking for Alaska by John Green.  The ALA award propelled this porn novel to popularity all around the country.  See “Actual Quotes from the Book” —  http://www.safelibraries.org/pushers.htm#language  ).

For years, we have tried to get Congress to cut the funding for ALA and NEA.  With our country on the edge of the fiscal cliff, now would be a great time to let these two leftwing entities stand on their own.

Let the ALA and NEA raise their own funds to promote their leftist agenda and see how far they get.  If the local taxpayers are sold on what the ALA and NEA want to do in their local communities, let the locals pay for it. If the people of Denton, Texas, want to fund “Muslim Journeys,” let the locals pay for it.

With the brutal killings in Kenya, Benghazi, Boston Marathon, Ft. Hood, 9/11, Mali, London, Tel Aviv, Baghdad, Basra, Marrakech, Nigeria, Thailand, Frankfurt, Manilla, and many more by Muslim terrorists, I think the ALA and NEA might find themselves with very little local support for “Muslim Journeys.”  – Donna Garner

Advice from Donna Garner to parents:

With schools so caught up in the 21st Century technology craze, I would encourage parents not to allow their school children to go on Skype or other online venues to dialogue with “global pen pals” – during the school day or on their techie devices at home.  Jihadists are trying to lure our American children to join their terrorist networks.  CNN recently reported that the Kenyan mall attacks may very well have involved jihadist Somali young men who have been lured from America over the Internet.

All of us need to be very concerned about an effort in the United States to desensitize our school children through their curriculum to destroy a belief in American exceptionalism.  Such desensitization leaves our school children open to being linked up with unknown “global pen pals” who may very well be Muslim jihadists trying to recruit our children into their cause.

I went to the Coahoma school board meeting tonight, here is a copy of the letter I read.

Coahoma ISD School Board Members, 9/24/2013

I’m sure you have noticed the loss of several students and many staff; I am here to tell you why my husband and I have made the very difficult decision to take our son out of his neighborhood school, and transfer him to another district

As a volunteer in Coahoma elementary, I noticed a drastic change in the atmosphere, it has become what I would expect to find at an institution, not an elementary school with smiles and joy. It appears as though the students and staff are under a lot of stress, which is not an environment that encourages learning.

Last winter I observed Mr. Brown yell loudly at 2 groups of students, I started hearing him when I was in the office, and he was outside the restroom that is past the pre-K room. He was yelling “there is no talking in my halls”. I walked in that direction and saw him standing with his feet just inches from these students who were sitting on the floor with their back against the wall. When I called Ms. Jacobs, she cut my conversation short and told me to call Mr. Reddock, who said “that didn’t sound like something Mr. Brown would do.” When Mr. Brown was in the cafeteria, you could hear a pin drop. The kids were afraid to make a sound. Again, not a climate of an elementary school

Afternoon pick up, no child should ever be forced to sit on a curb, on the tail pipe side of the vehicles to breathe exhaust fumes while waiting to be picked up. This is a health hazard.

Last year, our son was tested for dyslexia here at my request. The results were that he had a couple of borderline scores, so he would receive no help. In his new school, they quickly identified that there was a problem, and they asked me for permission to test him for dyslexia. He is dyslexic. He has been in their dyslexia program since week two of the school year. I am so thankful that he is finally receiving the help he needs. It also makes me very upset that he was not thoroughly tested and properly served here at Coahoma. I am here because not every parent will fight for their child’s education, and I don’t want to see this happen to others.

Even though we have moved our child we are still being affected by Coahoma. His school has requested the 504 and dyslexia testing results from Coahoma on at least three separate occasions. I believe this is now week 5. On Monday, I called the elementary office and spoke to Sheryl. I let her know that I would be coming in to pick up our son’s 504 and dyslexia testing information, and asked her to have it ready, along with anything I needed to fill out to get them. She said she had been busy and would send them to the school when she had time. I let her know that I was picking them up, so she said “By law, I had to give her 2 days.” I am waiting the 2 days, but don’t see why I should, it’s been over a month that these records should have been sent. I understand that the school is understaffed, and has lost many wonderful people who truly cared about the students.

Please find out why so many good teachers and staff are leaving, and fix it. We need to keep those who truly care, and weed out the rest to have a quality school again. It is an embarrassment to the Coahoma community that the board is allowing this to go on. When I leave this room I could be considered just an upset parent, a troublemaker, or someone who just doesn’t know what’s really going on but you can not say I don’t care! I would hope that one of you sitting in this room would step up and do the job we have elected you to do!
