Texas IB Schools partner with Communist, Howard Zinn

Share Button

Texas IB World School Districts have partnered with one time card-carrying member of the Communist Party USA, Howard Zinn. Zinn advocated for a Communist Revolution in order to deal with America’s racist issues. Linked to the Texas IB Website is the Zinn Project which advocates for students to design a “Reparations Bill”. YIKES!!

Why would Texas public school districts allow an Anti-God, Anti-American College Preparatory United Nations Program filled with Communist propaganda ?

Every Texas School district that has implemented this program pay dues to the Texas IB Schools (TIBS) Association. On TIBS website at the top is a link titled IB At-a-Glance any American loving citizen should be outraged at the communist propaganda listed for Texas IB teachers to utilize students.

Is your local school an IB World School? Check here.

The International Baccalaureate has operated under the radar over a decade. Most parents and taxpayers are unaware of the progressive ideology behind it’s founding. One of the first General Director is George Walker who states in a paper titled East is East and West is West the following…..

“Empathy and scientific understanding create a set of moral values that confer dignity upon human beings who have the capacity—though not the necessity—to “say no to God”.

Seriously? Is that what our public Texas High Schools students are supposed to be learning?

“Humankind must now learn to take responsibility for its own behaviour, without necessary appeal to some higher religious authority.”

And we the taxpayers should fund this? Walker is clearly an atheist seeking to influence children to reject any religious upbringing by making them think they are smarter, wiser and more dignified if they reject religious authority.

International Baccalaureate is a non-governmental agency in official partnership with of the United Nations Scientific Cultural Organization (UNESCO). UNESCO is no friend of America and is working through various avenues to undermine America’s founding.

Tragedy and Hope

Don’t let the title fool you. This video is actually about how government-run schooling contributed to the rise of socialism, imperialism and eventually fascism in Germany between the 1890s and 1940s.

Critical Thinking Question:
In school we are led to believe that we are all living in an ideal vision of what society should be…
But whose vision is it?
And what were their ideals?

CSCOPE-The OBAMACARE of Public Education

texas insider

ObamaCare, CSCOPE both beyond fixing

bill-amesBy Bill Ames

Texas Insider Report: AUSTIN, Texas – Americans increasingly realize that Obamacare is not about providing quality healthcare for all Americans.  Its creators could care less.  Rather, it is about a  progressive power grab,TX-Textbooksstructured to gain control over a large chunk of the U. S. economy. Likewise for CSCOPE, a thinly disguised Common Core methodology being used across  Texas, despite the fact the Texas Legislature has banned Common Core in Texas.

Obamacare is about a group of elitists who believe they know what is best for us, because we citizens are too dumb to know what is best for ourselves. For this reason, there is no hope to fix Obamacare.  Its  creators are so determined to reach their goal that the compromises to allow a reasonable health care program are impossible.

cscope7d

Likewise for CSCOPE.  It is a thinly disguised implementation of common core methodology, in spite of the fact that the Texas legislature has banned common core in Texas.

And like Obamacare, the CSCOPE juggernaut is comprised of elitists who think they know what is best for our kids, and who much prefer to trashing their opposition than considering compromise.

Recently, chief common core (and its little brother CSCOPE) cheerleader Arne Duncan (below, left,) head of the U. S. Department of Education, trashed his critics, branding them as “angry white suburban moms.”   This top-down arrogant attitude permeates through Texas’ education establishment:

  • The Education Service Center personnel that created and defended their bizarre lesson plans
  • The liberal-leaning Texas Association of School Administrators (TASA) and the Texas Association of School Boards (TASB)
  • A  couple of RINO members of the Texas State Board of Education (SBOE,) and
  • Rogue School Boards, Superintendents and School District Curriculum writers who ignore parents while embracing Mr. Duncan’s arrogance with the attitude, “we’ll teach students whatever we choose, and the tax-paying community be damned”.

obama arne duncan education   Due to this deep-seated bias, both Obamacare and CSCOPE are both beyond fixing.

CSCOPE IS NOT IN COMPLIANCE WITH SBOE ADOPTED STANDARDS

CSCOPE critics have done admirable work in exposing lesson plans that reveal CSCOPE as anti-American, anti-Christian, and a rogue implementation of the legislatively-banned common core philosophy in Texas.

But CSCOPE proponents publicly claim its lesson plans are aligned with the SBOE-adopted TEKS.

The pro-CSCOPE folks are wrong.

Yes, the CSCOPE lesson plans that categorized Boston Tea Party patriots as terrorists, and Islamic 911 terrorists as freedom fighters, have been quietly removed from the CSCOPE arsenal. But those lessons have been replaced by more subtle and clever ways to indoctrinate Texas’ students.

As a CSCOPE volunteer lesson plan reviewer, I recently reviewed eleven CSCOPE U. S. history lessons.  My past experience gives me a wealth of knowledge regarding TEKS (Texas Essential Knowledge and Skills) content and curriculum evaluations.

For more CSCOPE AnalysisSBOE’s Tincy Miller Talks CSCOPE, Politics & Children’s Textbook Fund

The original TEKS standards document proposed by a leftist-biased review panel in the fall of 2009 was so far removed from mainstream Texans to be unacceptable. The balancing amendments adopted by the SBOE in 2010 reversed the bias and defeated the left’s war on history.

Beginning with the first lesson I reviewed, it became evident that the CSCOPE lesson plan authors focused on including the politically correct, biased portions of the TEKS, while omitting those that did not contribute to their leftist ideology.

Quin Hillyer Christmas WWII

A summary of examples follows.  In the interest of brevity, only a summary of the most egregious TEKS compliance violations are included.

  • WORLD WAR II

– Only one 50 minute period, out of a seven period module, was spent covering the key events of WWII:   Midway, the Pacific theatre, Normandy, the Bataan Death March, liberation of concentration camps, the development of atomic weapons.

– Nearly as much class time was devoted to the (multicultural) contribution of the Navajo code talkers.

– Japanese internment was well covered (implied American racism), while German and Italian internments (national security) were ignored.

– A referenced biography of President Roosevelt includes the phrase, “Today the Obama Administration continues to protect and ensure Social Security will be there for future generations.”

– The WWII lesson plans are taken to a laughable extreme in classroom time-wasting, by assigning students to write acrostic (look up that one) poems using the last names of WWII leaders and significant groups.

  • POST-WWII ECONOMIC PROSPERITY

– In a typical example of ignoring America’s positives, this lesson ignores a TEKS requirement to study the growth of agriculture and business, and how both contributed to the emergence of the United States as a world economic power.

– Also missing was the TEKS requirement to address America’s scientific discoveries, technological innovations, and the benefits of the free enterprise system.

– Rather, students were assigned to “create a song, poem, or mural, reflecting the late 1940s and 1950s”.  Really!

  • ronald reagan brandenburg gate speech
  • END OF THE COLD WAR

– There is ample study of divided countries (Germany and Korea), but no comparison of the economic outcomes of West/East Germany and South/North Korea.  I suggested adding the famous night satellite photo of North/South Korea be added to the lesson.

– The Venona papers, that revealed communist infiltration of the FDR/Truman administrations, were ignored.

  • SIGNIFICANT LEADERS, EVENTS, ISSUES AND POLICIES

– This module ignored the unintended consequences of the Great Society programs:  Paying welfare mothers to have additional out-of-wedlock babies, and preventing the father from living in the welfare-subsidized home, thus creating the inevitable inner city poverty and crime associated with single parent families.

– Also ignored was the reality that the Democrat Party (Southern Congressmen and state governors) made up the primary resistance to civil rights legislation.

  • FOREIGN POLICY AND IMPORTANT EVENTS

– The anarchy, violence, and anti-American extremism of Vietnam-era radical protestors is not addressed.

  • DOMESTIC POLICY AND IMPORTANT EVENTS

– A student handout of icons depicting the Bill of Rights characterizes the 2nd Amendment as protection for hunters’ rights.

  • SIGNIFICANT PEOPLE, ISSUES, AND EVENTS

– Ignores the “conservative resurgence” of the 1980s and 1990s.

– Ignores discussion of achieving the American Dream.

  • SBOE-American-ExceptionalismINTERNATIONAL RELATIONSHIPS

– Lesson ignores the TEKS requirement to “Evaluate efforts by Global Organizations to undermine U. S. sovereignty through us of treaties”.

  • POLITICAL, ECONOMIC, AND SOCIAL ISSUES

– No mention of the effects of 12-20 million illegal immigrants.

CONCLUSION – LESSON PLANS ANALYSIS

A significant question asked to each lesson plan reviewer reads,

“Does this lesson cover the TEKS indicated therein as being applicable to this lesson?”

My answer to each of the eleven lessons was “no”.

It is instructive to note that each of the other three reviewers who submitted responses for these lessons answered “yes” to this question for each of the eleven lessons.  Upon questioning the facilitator for my group, she acknowledged that each reviewer had a lesser knowledge than I of the TEKS involved, and also performed a less rigorous analysis of TEKS coverage of the lessons.

I fear that this defect may be true across all 400 lessons, and if so, casts serious suspicions regarding the validity of this whole CSCOPE review exercise.

IN ADDITION TO CONTENT, THERE ARE SIGNIFICANT FLAWS IN THE CSCOPE INSTRUCTION MODEL

When most of the folks who read this were in 11th Grade, the instruction model included the teacher as the classroom authority, teaching lessons from a textbook that had been thoroughly vetted and reviewed by hundreds of citizens during a textbook review and adoption process.  NOcscope This is no longer the case.

The Project Based Learning model, a key element of CSCOPE and common core methodology, has replaced the traditional instruction model.

THE TEACHER IS NO LONGER THE CLASSROOM AUTHORITY

The TASA-produced CSCOPE/Common Core visioning document states, “Students are not just consumers of knowledge, they are creators of knowledge as well.” And from my own district’s visioning document (Richardson ISD), “Students are given choices regarding what they learn”.

For more on CSCOPE’s Project-Based Learning, read Bill AmesA Series on CSCOPE, Part 3: Common Core, Project Based Learning Damages Texas Students

The Project based Learning model de-emphasizes the presentation of academic facts to the students.  The concept of  “whole class instruction”  no longer exists in the CSCOPE world.

Instead, students reach their own conclusions through the use of Project-Based Learning assignments.  The lesson plan includes little or no provision for the teacher to act as classroom authority, to correct any false student conclusions that may be based upon feelings and emotions rather than academic facts.

STUDENT RESEARCH MATERIALS ARE UN-VETTED AND UN-REVIEWED

Un-vetted, un-reviewed information sources are provided for student research.  Sources for student research are not defined in the CSCOPE lessons.

SBOE Social Studies Press Conf. 1-13-10For good and valid reasons, the Texas State Board of Education (SBOEhas traditionally conducted extensive textbook reviews.  Books that go through that process are thoroughly reviewed and vetted: By citizens, parents, teachers, and taxpayers, for errors and biased material.  The vetted textbooks then become source materials for student learning.

Conversely, the selection process for CSCOPE research materials appears to be at the discretion of the local school district’s administrators, and subject to the ideology of those individuals.  At any rate, the materials are not reviewed nor vetted by the local community.  This should be a concern for all.

TEACHER AS FACILITATOR, COMBINED WITH BIASED RESEARCH MATERIALS, LEADS TO STUDENT INDOCTRINATION

The combination of not presenting academic facts, along with providing un-vetted, un-researched, ideology-biased student research materials, is the perfect recipe for an education establishment committed to indoctrinating Texas’ students with its socialist ideology.

STATE BOARD OF EDUCATION CSCOPE REVIEW COMMITTEE – NO POSITION ON CSCOPE

Unfortunately, the SBOE Ad Hoc CSCOPE Review Committee has elected to take no position regarding the CSCOPE lesson plans.  This position reflects a change from the past … from a mainstream, conservative SBOE institution, to one that provides a platform for leftist encroachment on our students’ curriculum.  It is wrong.

Given the absence of classroom academic authority, un-vetted research materials, added to the selective implementation of the TEKS as previously described, the only rational conclusion is that CSCOPE, like Obamacare, should be banned in Texas.

Cscope Students Tested On Sharia Law

sharia

State Cscope Director Wade Laby and Texas Education Service Center Directors will continue to LIE and tell legislators, parents and communities that Cscope is not Pro Islamic but the mounting evidence proves otherwise. Below is a History  Cscope Assessment question  testing students on Sharia Law. SERIOUSLY!! THIS IS OUTRAGEOUS!

Cscope aligns with the TEKS? Where in the Texas Teks is Sharia Law listed? It isn’t! If you have questions as to why Cscope is testing your child or grandchildren on Islamic Sharia Law email the State Cscope Director Wade Labay at Wade.Labay@esc13.txed.net and ask him why?

SHARIA

I have research Cscope for over a year. My first findings was this Islamic Powerpoint. Notice on the  Power point is dated 2008 on the bottom left of the front page. The  powerpoint accompanies this lesson titled The Islamic World which calls for the teacher to hand out verses of the Quran to the students.

Please get involved and contact your superintendents and those in your communities and inform them about Cscope. Hold town hall meetings to inform your community. Our children deserve better.

SHARIA IN AFRICA: WOMAN BEING STONED TO DEATH

*GRAPHIC*

 by PAMELA GELLAR

There has been a concerted attempt lately to try to downplay the negative aspects of sharia law in order to mainstream its acceptance into Western legal systems. I think it’s important to show the reality of what sharia law entails in order for a wider audience to fully grasp its ramifications. Reading words on paper about how incompatible it is with Western law is wholly different from seeing innocent women being murdered for the slightest triviality. Video link here. (hat tip Golem)

Give me four years to teach the children and the seed I have sown will never be uprooted.

One would never imagine that for the last seven years students all across the state of Texas have been indoctrinated with a pro communist, pro Islamic curriculum called CSCOPE.  Here is a list of Cscope School districts in Texas.  Why are our representatives so quiet on the subject? Do our children matter? Does our Freedom matter?  I personally met with LT Gov. Dewhurst and showed him some of the curriculum within Cscope. Thankfully he led the Senate Education Committee into holding a Hearing on Cscope.

At this time it doesn’t look like the legislative session will be able to shut Cscope down. Having the SBOE review lessons does not fix the fact that Cscope is based on a Marxist Ideology where absolute truth is not taught and everything is relative. The Csope Assessments have nothing to do with the lessons that are given and children are frustrated and not doing well. How sad for their self esteem.  At this moment I am with Glenn Beck, take your kids our of the Public School system and home school them. Our Public School system has become nothing but one bureaucratic mess where administrators are concerned with their pocket books and indoctrinating our children.

CSCOPE: Exposing The New Marxist Public School Curriculum

The liberal strategy for indoctrinating children is rather simple: it’s better to ask for forgiveness than permission.   They teach revisionist history and Marxist ideology, make up excuses and promise “we’ll look into it” when the initial outrage arises, and then move right along as the protests die down.  Even if they’re stopped temporarily, they never give up.

Under the Obama administration’s “Common Core” education takeover, Marxist curriculums like CSCOPE are being implemented across the country.  Here are some of the lessons being taught to your children:

1. Islam is awesome

In a unit of high school world history, the online material students are given is essentially a paean to the greatness of Islam and its founder, Mohammed.

One portion involves open-ended discussion of the merits of the hijab — the face and body covering worn by many Muslim women (and under threat of arrest in Saudi Arabia and Iran). Perhaps high school students think the hijab is “freeing because it prevents others from making them into sexual objects.” Or perhaps they think the hijab suggests that “women need to be obscured so as not to arouse male desire.” Either way, it’s fine.

The widespread and ordinary mistreatment of women in Islamic countries — particularly Arab ones — is ignored. Texas high schoolers don’t learn, for example, that Jordan and other Islamic kingdoms have laws that pardon rapists if an arrangement can be reached for rapists and their victims to get married.

2. Christianity is a cult

Another portion of the materials on Islam lists several specific lessons that Muslims take from the example of Islam’s founder, such as “Be respectful of other religions.” Strangely, there does not appear to be any such lesson focused on, say, Moses or Jesus Christ.

Instead, the materials in another world history lesson inform students that Christianity is a cult that parallels the death and resurrection in the story of Osiris, the Egyptian god of the dead. The same material takes pains to point out that early Christians were accused of incest, cannibalism and other atrocities.

3. Communism is awesome

An illustration in a CSCOPE high school world history handout shows a figure with a trekking pole climbing steps made out of money. A chart immediately to the right concerns “big ideas” in 18th- and 19th-century economic thinking. At the bottom of the chart is free-market capitalism, where “all people strive to fulfill their own needs and wants,” and where government control and planning are low.

In the middle is socialism, where “the big things” in society (e.g., “telephones, roads, airports”) are “owned by the people.” “Can you think of other big stuff that should be covered?” the chart asks. (Note the loaded verb, “should.”)

At the top of the chart is communism, which the CSCOPE creators innocuously describe as “the idea of living together in a ‘commune’ where all people work together for everyone.” The chart manages to insult the Marxist vision of communism as well, by suggesting that government control and planning is highest under the system.

There is no mention of the nearly 100 million people who died in the 20th century under various self-described communist regimes around the world.

4. Hey kids! Let’s make communist flags

“Imagine a new socialist nation is creating a flag and you have been put in charge of creating a flag,” read the instructions from an activity that directs sixth graders to design a socialist or communist flag. “Use symbolism to represent aspects of socialism/communism on your flag.”

In the same lesson, students are also instructed that socialist utopian Robert Owen wanted to “give every child born into the world an equal chance to live and grow and to lead a happy life.”

No mention is made of the two socialist utopias Owen attempted to create, or how they ended up disastrously failed and disease-ridden.

5. The Boston Tea Party was a terrorist attack

A CSCOPE high school world history lesson plan -schools-teach-boston-tea-party-as-act-of-terrorism/”>depicts the Boston Tea Party, the famous protest against taxation without representation, as an act of terrorism.

“A local militia, believed to be a terrorist organization, attacked the property of private citizens today at our nation’s busiest port,” the part of the curriculum pertaining to the Boston Tea Party reads. “Although no one was injured in the attack, a large quantity of merchandise, considered to be valuable to its owners and loathsome to the perpetrators, was destroyed. The terrorists, dressed in disguise and apparently intoxicated, were able to escape into the night with the help of local citizens who harbor these fugitives and conceal their identities from the authorities.”

Read more at the Daily Caller

The seeds have already been in a child’s mind, whether or not a parent objects with the material and tries to explain the truth to their child later.  The child cannot unsee or unhear what he has been taught.  He’s now trying to decide who to believe: mom and dad, or the teacher.  Unfortunately, most students eventually begin to agree with the material being taught.  Why?  Because they are told that the older, “unenlightened” generation (i.e., parent) is probably too “close-minded” or doesn’t have all the facts of “new discoveries,” but they’re the young ones who know better.   Nothing like stroking an ignorant kid’s ego to get him to swallow the bait.

Historian David Barton Breaks Down CSCOPE on the Glenn Beck show:

View on YouTube

Tiffany Gabbay reports at The Blaze:

To glean greater insight, Glenn Beck invited special guests David Barton and Pat Gray, along with teachers Mary Bowen, Stan Hartzler and Texas State Sen. Dan Patrick to discuss what is truly going on within their state’s education system.

Barton explained that CSCOPE is referred to as “instructional material” and not “curriculum,” therefore is not subject to regulation by the State Board of Education. The historian also brought in artifacts of Texas public school curriculum to showcase just how different it is today and to mark, year-by-year, the increasing application of political correctness in lesson plans.

Using a chart, Barton documented and mapped out core CSCOPE material, which eliminates national values, Americanism or rather, American exceptionalism, the study of federalism and majority rule (the core of our constitution) along with patriotic symbols like the Liberty Bell. Christopher Columbus, Rosh Hashanah and Christmas are all relegated to the dustbin along with American military history. Equality and a belief in justice is replaced by “fairness” and instruction on American propaganda and imperialism.

Disturbingly, Beck and Barton noted that the worst is yet to come. Showcasing a lesson plan for grades 1-3, Barton revealed CSCOPE’s list of “heroes,” which comprises a dozen secular progressives and only three conservatives or political moderates.

According to a previous report from TheBlaze, teachers complained that they were expected to deliver the curriculum verbatim and only on days allotted by the CSCOPE lesson plan. Even if students were unable to absorb the lesson, teachers were allegedly directed to progress to the next lesson regardless. TheBlaze also reported that teachers were “asked to sign a contract that would prevent them from revealing what was in the CSCOPE lessons or face civil and criminal penalties.”

‘LET GO OF THE SYSTEM’: HOW CAN PARENTS &

TEACHERS STOP CSCOPE?

By Tiffany Gabbay

The Blaze

On Thursday TheBlaze along with The Glenn Beck Program delved deeply into the controversial curriculum system sweeping Texas schools known as CSCOPE. From issuing gag orders on teachers to bar them from talking about lesson plans, to preventing parents from obtaining information about what their children are being taught, the way CSCOPE operates almost seems like a work of fiction. Disturbingly, it is not.

Following up on issues covered by his panel the night before, Beck on Friday discussed what teachers and parents can actually do to stop the effects of what’s being called an “oppressive” curriculum management system.

“The best thing is to educate yourself as a teacher on what it [CSCOPE] is,” Beck said. “As a parent, get your kids out of the public school system… Do not let another day go by with kids being indoctrinated.”

Historian and Texas native David Barton said parents should broach the subject with the curriculum directors of their children’s schools and engage the school superintendent.

“Teach kids what is right,” Barton said.

Barton and Pat Gray both said it’s important for parents and teachers to focus on their school boards and, more pointedly, the local election process, because citizens are most effective at the local level.

Barton explained that CSCOPE is operating outside of Texas, typically under the generic Common Core standards name and that there are variations of CSCOPE in other states.

The public education and traditional university system is “killing our ingenuity,” Beck said.

He noted that there have been many successful people, including famed CEOs and entrepreneurs, who did not go the route of traditional education. Beck qualified that wasn’t saying education is not important, but that the system by which it’s sometimes delivered can be inherently flawed.

“Don’t let go of education, but let go of the system,” Beck said. “You can think out of the box.”

Cscope Directors “GO TO JAIL”

Go to JailThose Responsible for Cscope, “Go To Jail”

The men and women on the Board of Directors of Texas Education Service Center Curriculum Collaborative (TESCCC), who own Cscope, the progressive/Marxist curriculum in Texas Schools  in my opinion need to be in jail. What a nefarious act to implement a Marxist philosophy of education in our Texas schools for the last 6–7 years where parents could not see the lessons and teachers had to sign a non-disclosure statement that they would not release the contents or say anything negative about it. Then we have the question of where is all this money. Is this another ENRON situation a ponzi scheme. For our Texas Education Service Center Directors to form a non-profit using tax payers money to create their “Cscope” product and sell it out of our of our State Agencies using State employees? There are many questions that have not been answered. This is ESC Director XIII Terry Smith’s response  being questioned as the money trail.

Communist Vladimir Lenin once quoted Give me four years to teach the children and the seed I have sown will never be uprooted”. Unfortunately for millions of Texas school children and unbeknownest to their parents Texas students have sat under the Marxist philosophy of the Cscope Curriculum.

I have spent the last year trying to notify community leaders, parents through every social media sight I could find. I have met with Cscope reps and spoke at Willis ISD school Board Meeting only to be lambasted by a Cscope Coordinator from ESC Region VI.  You can read the whole story HERE.

I emailed teachers and school staff about my concerns and Superintendent Dan Powell from Crowley ISD in his most professional manner sent me the following response.

This is absolute non-sense! You are either crazy or ridiculously mistaken. As a Christian and patriotic American, I am most offended by your lies!  Take me off your mailing list immediately, and find a shrink.  Dan Powell

Dan.

If you feel like contacting Mr. Powell about your concerns in regard to Cscope his email is dan.powell@crowley.k12.tx.us

Action Item….Texans we have to contact our State Reps and have them sign onto Steve Toth’s HB 760 or this will happen again.

Texas Education Agency & UN Agenda 21

Share Button

Agenda-21Our nation is sadly deteriorating and America’s Exceptionalism is wasting away in large part due to the indoctrination of our school children. Texas unfortunately has bought into the lie of the United Nation’s Agenda 21/sustainable development goals of eliminating world poverty.  Sounds great on the surface but in reality it is the removal of individual freedom and personal property.

The Texas Education Agency (TEA), Texas Education Service Center (TESC), Texas Association of School Administrators (TASA)  are all behind the implementation of the United Nations Goals in our school system.  The CSCOPE curriculum is the tool being used to implement Agenda 21 propaganda.

Wake up Parents and Taxpayers

Please take time to find out  what danger this indoctrination will bring to our National Sovereignty and Freedom.

Our children’s and grandchildren’s lives are being changed–STOP THIS Indoctrination before it is too late. America  will forever be changed if citizens do not get involved in stopping this creeping cancer.

The common answer head is, “I am too busy.”  If you do not take time now you may rue the day that you did not slow down and protect our Freedom. In the name of Progressive–21 Century changes, these progressive radicals are working overtime to implement policies and changes that will take your freedom of making choices away. America will no longer be the “The Land of the Free.”  Instead, it will be a controlled land with no individual freedoms.

Your children are daily being taught in public and private school about community and equal sharing. These are not Christian values, instead, they are at this time socialists propaganda. Which easily slides into communist control. Please get involved and educate yourself. America Needs You.

Texas Superintendent goes to Washington DC?

Share Button

Dr. Jeff Turner

Dr. Jeff Turner, superintendent of Coppell ISD is on his way to Washington DC again. Why?  Turner flew to Washington on Dec. 5th to discuss Common Core Standards and non adoption of them in Texas.  Dr. Turner  is also President of the Texas Association of School AdministratorsTASA.   TASA is gearing up to attend the American Association of  School Administrtors, AASA to hear humanist Linda Darling Hammond who is associated with Communist William (Bill) Ayers  speak on the Common Core Standards. Hammond is also an education adviser to the Obama administration.  Why are  Texas Taxpayers funding this? Why are we having to pay for our superintendents to travel to here about the Marxist Common Core standards Texas did not adopt?

TURNER GOES TO WASHINTON

Dr. Turner seems to be all about promoting an education of the 21st Century. An education that is NOT based on individual achievement but on the collective. It is a watered down education that removes vocabulary, novels, cursive writing and the basics of algebra. Why are our administrators buying into this?

Though Common Core was not officially adopted in Texas the Education Service Centers have found a way to implement a similar product that has Common Core written all over it, called Cscope. Cscope is an online curriculum that nearly 80% of Texas school districts have purchased and implemented it without parents knowledge. The curriculum has not been available for parents to see and teachers had to sign a non-disclosure statement that they would not release the contents or say anything negative about it. Csocpe is pro Islamic and anti Christian. It pushes a global collectivist agenda. It is based on the Marxist/progressive ideology of Obama education adviser Linda Darling Hammond who is associated with communist Bill Ayers.  Hammond has been a regular speaker at Cscope Conferences.

Dr. Turner has also signed a contract for the Coppell ISD with TASA’S  School Transformation Network. Here is their Visioning Document. Notice following the document are the original 35 superintendents that promoted this vision.

In Texas today unbeknownest to parents and taxpayers there is a progressive/Marxist curriculum called Cscope is a  that has been implemented in nearly 80% of the Texas Schools.   Parents have not been  aware that it is in their schools due the fact that homework is discouraged and most school districts to not purchase text books. It is online and parents have been denied access to the material. As alarming as it is Teachers were required to sign a non-disclosure statement that they would not release the contents are say anything negative about it.
