The Devil’s Pleasure Palace: The Cult of Critical Theory and the Subversion of the West

Share Button

I have been trying to alert parents and taxpayers of the progressive teaching philosophy that is sweeping our country even in Texas. You will often hear “educrats” use terminology such as “Critical Theory” “Critical Thinking”, etc. It all sounds great on the surface but there is an  underlying agenda to this teaching philosophy and one that is not good. Want to know more about this movement please tune into the following webinar, January 26.

In the aftermath of World War II, America stood alone as the world’s premier military power. Yet our sense of cultural inferiority remained.  Many of our elites embraced not only the war’s refugees, but many of their ideas as well. Some of them argued that truth was only a social construct and that meaning was based on what the individual wanted.  As a result, although we had just won a war against the forces of nihilism and fascism, the New Nihilists set about dissolving the bedrock of the country, from patriotism to marriage to the family to military service; they have sown (as Cardinal Bergoglio – now Pope Francis – once wrote of the Devil) “destruction, division, hatred, and calumny” – and all disguised as the search for truth.

The Devil’s Pleasure Palace exposes the overlooked movement known as Critical Theory and explains how it took root in America and, once established and gestated, how it has affected nearly every aspect of American life and society.

WARNING: 21st Century Learning

21stcenturylearning0

There is not a district in the state of Texas  not incorporating the progressive/radical transformation of the Common Core agenda. Thanks to lobbying efforts of the tax funded organizations,  Texas Association of School Administrators (TASA) and Texas Association of School Boards (TASB) and Texas Association of School Business (TASBO) and a legislature that are completely oblivious to the lobbyist agenda and tactics, Texans are now seeing the transformation in their local school districts. Parents across the state have been screaming about testing, lack of traditional math, no textbooks, no spelling, no cursive, fuzzy math, etc……

With the use of massive roll-out of technology schools are now promoting what they are calling 21 Century Learning or Project Based Learning where students are working more in groups. Individual achievement is becoming a thing of the past. It is all for the collective good. AKA.. MARXISM

I discovered this agenda when I discovered that 875 school districts has purchased the Marxist Curriculum CSCOPE from our Texas Education Service Centers (ESC’s). Our ESC’s created this Marxist product and have continued to lease it to our school districts, yearly. Due to public outcry the ESC’s have now changed the name of the product to TEKS RESOURCE SYSTEM. And the age-old saying goes a rose by any other name is still a rose, and so goes the Marxist product of the Teks Resource System. Our ESC are still peddling it today for a pretty hefty price. Though a state audit has shown that ESC’s are incompetent when it comes to handling taxpayers money.

ESC 2o and along with many others promote 21st Century Learning. If I remember correctly man got to the moon using a BIG CHIEF TABLET. To think there is some new phenomenon that needs to be implemented for students to learn is a bunch of HOG WASH! Do NOT let these EDUCRATS intimidate you with their lingo.  You will hear the words, Rigor, Authentic Learning, Critical Thinking (like that is something new), 21st Century Learning Skills, student centered,  Project Based Learning, Collaborative work (socialism). They have developed their own lingo of what is now and acceptable way to be properly educated according to powers at be. PLEASE DO  NOT BE FOOLED.

On ESC 20’s website you can find a whole page and section about 21st Century Learning. When you run across these words know for sure they are on a path of total transformation, one that is not for the best of the individual student but for the collective good.

Below is a clip from ESC 20’s webpage. I have highlighted the words that should cause every parent to start asking the questions. Not only what you are teaching but how you are teaching my kid?

21ST

WARNING: Your children will be online at school more than you like. The dangers they will be exposed to is astronomical.

The ultimate goad of Common core and the whole transformation process is “Centralized Control” and along with this comes data mining. There are numerous online programs that students use at schools that are collecting data on your kids, such as the Khan academy.

Texas has put in place a student data collection. Are parents aware of this?

Texas School Superintendents are Uneducated

Texas Superintendents and the powers at be (TASA, TASB, TEA, Thomas Ratliff, etc.) have been working under a veil of secrecy in implementing a progressive/marxist philosophy of education in the Texas school system called “Project Based Learning” ( PBL). A majority of districts use it under the name of CSCOPE.  PBL is based on the collective and not individual achievement. Students work collaboratively to acquire their knowledge.  It is said that the teachers will no longer be a “SAGE ON THE STAGE”, with direct student teaching. They will now learn alongside the student, become a facilitator, mentor, and friend. It would appear a waste for teachers to spend thousands on an education to become just a facilitator in the class room. Presently with the use of CSCOPE teachers do not have to write their own lesson plans. They follow a script. Good veteran teachers are being weeded out and are quitting education because they are no longer allowed to truly TEACH.

When I speak with administrators as to why they are implementing “PBL” I am told the same “robotic” educanese lingo. PBL promotes critical thinking, 21st Learning skills, the use of higher order thinking and problem solving skills. If the truth be told this all comes down to Money and philosophy. The Federal Government and the United Nations is promoting this philosophy in order to create diversity and globalization.

Texas superintendents, administrators, and veteran teachers more than likely spent their school days in a traditional classroom setting. So would it be safe to say those that did are not well-educated compared to today’s standards? They were not afforded this “wonderful” opportunity to acquire their “higher order thinking and problem solving skills“. Parents need to question their local school administrator’s education and see what qualifies them to oversee their child’s education.

Do I truly think School Superintendents are stupid and educated? Not at all! As a matter of fact they have showed their intelligence and “higher order of thinking skills” when it came to deceptively implementing CSCOPE/PBL in the Texas Schools system since 2006 until someone  with more “critical thinking” ability exposed it.

Below are snap shots of various “project based learning” websites and their agenda of education.

TRASH TEXTBOOKS?

Educators across the state of Texas are working feverishly on implementing a progressive learning style called Project Based Learning. Sound great doesn’t it? As a student I loved doing projects and getting my hands messy, buidling and making dioramas, etc. Unfortunately this is not what it is all about to the liberal progressive educator of our day.

They want to trash your students textbooks and build a learning practice built on Marxist Lev Vygotsky’s learning theory of “Social Constructivism”. Social Constructivism is based on students creating their own knowledge of things. There is no absolute value, right or wrong. You will hear educators today mention 21st Century Learning Skills and Critical Thinking. These are buzz words for everything is up for debate.

The following is a snap shot of a newsletter from written by, Texas Education Service Center 6’s Coordinator of School Improvement, Ingrid Lee.  In the article Ms. Lee’s  promotes the idea of shedding textbooks and worksheets and grow relationships with peers and teachers. Are educators now promoting schools as just some sort of social club? I would hope we would send out children to school to be taught and educated by qualified teachers. Unfortunately,  Teachers are being converted into being just some class room facilitator. Students are to work in groups for the majority of the time in “DISCOVERING THEIR KNOWLEDGE”  as well as critically thinking material through and discover if it is truth for them or not. SERIOUSLY?

NO TEXTBOOKS

Eli Crow from Tyler ISD wrote this attachement on Project Based Learning and stated the following “Many of the CSCOPE curriculum performance indicators can serve as potential PBL project ideas.” CSCOPE has appeared to be the foundation for a bigger progressive agenda of implementing Project Based Learning. CSCOPE is not officially gone and thankfully parents and taxpayers are waking up to what is going on in our school districts. The fact that the lessons are supposedly going to be removed doesn’t remove the control aspect of CSCOPE for teachers and the agenda of Project Based Learning.
