Who is Matt Foster?
Mr. Foster is the Government Relations Liaison of GRAND PRAIRIE ISD. In my opinion Mr. Foster’s position in the district is a waste of taxpayers dollars. With the GRAND PRAIRIE ISD already funneling taxpayers dollars into and joining the political associations of Texas Association of School Administrators (TASA) and Texas Association of School Boards (TASB) which are political lobbying groups why would the district need to pay a government liaison?
Mr. Foster’s job position came to my attention after he took to the world of twitter in attacking me, a “private citizen” for exposing the controversial Marxist Texas curriculum, CSCOPE. Why would a Government Liaison of a Texas school district stoop to such behavior? Is it money? Is it philosophy? Whatever may drive this behavior…. I found that most Texas educators think no one is qualified to question the education establishment in Texas, they are the ones that know BEST what is best when it comes to your kids education. They abhor home schoolers but “LOVE” our tax dollars. Educators have and will come out in droves and attack private citizens, moms and dads, grandparents and taxpayers for questioning them. Unfortunately for them, many of their attacks are posted online for the whole world to see revealing their disdain for parents and taxpayers that have questions and concerns.
I have found it astonishing that those that are pro CSCOPE on the State Board of Education all the way to the teacher in the classroom will attack anyone who questions or criticizes CSCOPE or the teaching practice of Project Based Learning.
Mr. Foster has along with other educators have tried to accuse my mother science author Janice VanCleave who discovered the “hidden” CSCOPE curriculum as being a competitor. Matt, for being a govt relations guy does not understand the free market system. CSCOPE was created with tax dollars and it being sold back to the taxpayer.
I will assure you if my mother wrote and published a curriculum it would be transparent for all to see not hidden behind a password protected wall where teachers are threatened with a law suit if they exposed it or said anything negative about it.
I am sure Matt and other Texas educators will continue attacking me and others on social media stating we tell lies and untruths but they have yet to prove one LIE! They fail to realize there is a global movement taking place that is working to change teaching philosophy with the end goal of equity, diversity and globalization. Progressive are presently referring to it as Project Based Learning.
